Many years ago, I watched the sun rising over the North Sea at Dunnottar Castle, near Stonehaven. We had to stay up during the dark and cold hours for the privilege, but it was worth it! When we restarted our church services, it was like another sunrise for me. That might seem somewhat melodramatic, but after months of being in church on my own as I live-streamed the services, such was the joy of having our church family back together again, even if we could not yet sing and had to don a mask.
Of course, safety is extremely important to us and so we have implemented all of the Government guidelines regarding churches meeting together: we have an automatic hand sanitiser at the entrance, our chairs are 1 metre apart, and a risk assessment has been carried out.
We meet at 11:00 am and the service is live-streamed on facebook.
If you’d like to join us, you are more than welcome, but it would be extremely helpful if you could let us know you are coming 2-3 days in advance, if possible, by using the contact form below. This allows us to set out chairs in the most optimum way.
In the meantime, for those unable to come along, there is the option of joining us live through facebook, and also the chance to listen to services on this website. We hope and pray and that it won’t be too long before things get back to ‘normal’ again, because meeting together as a church family is so important for us, a lesson I hope we have all learned having lost the privilege for such a long time.
‘Praise the Lord. I will extol the Lord with all my heart in the council of the upright and in the assembly.’ (Psalm 111:1)
If you would like to attend our Sunday morning service, please register using this contact form. The same goes for the mid-week Prayer Meeting which is conducted over Zoom.
If you have any other questions, we’d love to hear from you.
