Who are we?
We’re a group mainly from Kirkcaldy, but also from other parts of Fife too. The main thing we have in common, is our love for Jesus, our desire that he is known and loved by more and more people, and a desire to become more like him.
We are, on the whole, made up of young families. However, we greatly value the older Christians in our church. We see great value in young and old mixing together and learning from one another. We have plenty of spare seats in the church and would love to see them filled, not for our own sakes but for the glory of God. Maybe you’d like to be part of our church family. Everyone is welcome.
What do we offer?
If you’re new to the area or interested in finding out more about Christianity we’d love to meet you. Our services on Sunday are at 11 am and 530 pm and last for about an hour. There’s plenty of parking. There are lots of others activities too: crèche and Sunday School, Bible Studies and prayer meetings, a fortnightly community café, and church lunches. The main emphasis of our worship is the preaching of the gospel – the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ. We believe this message is relevant to your life and so invite you to come along to any of our meetings.
Our services are simple and focused on Jesus and the Word of God. Studying the Bible together is really important to us, not only on Sundays but on other days too. Prayer is also crucial in the life of the church, as is being a loving and caring family, and sharing the good news of Jesus with others. We are not the perfect church, and as it often said, if you find that then don’t go there as you’ll spoil it! We believe it’s only faith in Jesus, through his death and resurrection, that you can find forgiveness, peace with God, and be changed by his grace
There are plenty of ways to serve God in our church. And there are plenty of ways we can mutually support one another. We are part of a denomination which you can find more about at freechurch.org. And even more importantly, we are part of the worldwide Church of Christ.
